Brief tutorial of the best bay to edit vertical video
Now, this is a short tutorial to help you learn the basics of how to edit vertical video, follow these steps and start working with it.
First, open the program and click on “New project”.
On the next screen, click on “Edit”, in the top left corner, and then on “Project Settings”.
The next display will show you the different settings for various devices and social media, to edit a vertical video, go all the way down and click on “Custom”.
In the new screen write:
Width: 1080
Height: 1920
You can leave the frame rate as it is, 30 fps, or change it as per your media.
Once the settings are set, you will see that the vertical format appears on the main window, with your media on the left panel.
To add the media, click on File -> Import -> Media, or drag and drop the media in the media panel.
Add the number of tracks you will need by Clicking on the plus symbol found in the left-down corner.
Drag and drop the media to each track, trim and resize as needed, remove the green screen if you need to, and play to check and correct your video.

When your video is ready, it´s time to export it. Go to the top right corner and click on “Export”.
You will see different options to export your processed video, I select “Local file” because I use the video for different sites and networks.
On the next screen, I suggest choosing “MP4 only (up to 1080) for best quality video.
The video will be exported to a folder with the project name, inside the Camtasia folder.
And that´s it, you will have your video ready for posting.
